Plane is finally free of its pallet support this week , engine cowlings have to be attached and ballast added to coneract the missing engines.
National well scottish national newspapers have now found her and have covered the story in full and colourful detail. Initially in the Scottish Daily mail on
the 9th of April then good coverage in the Sun , The Mirror , Metro and the Express on the 10th . Scottish television fimed on the 10th but due to a leading
aircraft crash story had to can the showing of "us". Two broadcasts were were done for Radio Scotland of which one was live. Its nice to see newspapers comparing Tricias idea of a hotel to other wierd and unusal hotels in the world. In all the publicity has been a surprise and positive.
Now were getting many people coming to view her and take there mobile phone pictures.
Next week we hope to be fronty page in out local newspaper , the Carluke Gazette, ok its not the biggest paper in the world but its important to us as they have down us well in the past and it'll be nice to see local reaction to an item weve kept relativly quiet .
The planning application should be submitted this week .
